What's all this buzz about?
It's the summer bash of the season: the Elsfield Summer Street Party! On Saturday, July 11, 2026, Elsfield Rd closes to cars between Glenroy Ave and Edgemore Dr, and the whole neighbourhood comes out to enjoy summer, have fun, and get to know each other a little better.
When's the party?
Saturday, July 11, 2026, from 4 pm to 11 pm.
Where's the party at?
Elsfield Rd, from Glenroy Ave to Edgemore Dr. Please park off Elsfield Rd. We suggest Sunnylea J.S. An emergency access lane stays clear at all times, and neighbours on the block are asked to move cars off the street by 2 pm.
What about tickets?
Everyone in the neighbourhood is welcome! Adults (18+) are $35, kids (4–17) are $10, and toddlers under 4 are free. Tickets cover the BBQ, music, permits, tables and chairs, and activities. It's a not-for-profit event, so every dollar goes back into the party. Get tickets in advance if you can. It really helps us plan, and your ticket is exchanged for a wristband before or at the event.
What's on the menu?
Hamburgers and hot dogs off the grill, with vegan and gluten-free options too. If you've got a culinary creation to share, register your dish. Just make sure it can handle a warm summer evening outdoors.
